Went to Wookey this afternoon and walked Ebbor Gorge. Ate cheese, we were going to drink tea so made sure we packed a bloody lighter this time. Forgot to pack the tea bags :bang:

These 5.11 Fast-Tac boots are proving to be comfortable. Light, no frills, no Goretex or waterproofing (Nikwax sprayed). Under £70 delivered with a Gerber Shard chucked in from Tactree.

No tea bags, gutted. I was on a trip away once and there was no coffee, I even burst into my emergency Lithuanian ration trying to find some but all it had was a vegetable stock drink that was made with a blend of salt and grit 😑

Where are your foraging skills? While tea leaves are probably scarce, I am sure there are a few plants that would make a decent enough herbal :mallow:

Beech and birch buds are opening here :) Lots of nettle, fair bit of early meadowsweet too.
Very nice, but you’ll not get me making tea out of any of it. I can just about do nettles as spinach with cream in an omelette.
