I picked up a Secrid mini wallet cheaply yesterday thinking it might replace my Bryker Hyde minimalist wallet.

I really like it except the cash clip is absolutely useless and unfortunately the card slots are not large enough to fold with cash in them either.

Is it all marketing?

Canadian notes are longer and narrower so it doesn't really work if you do it like that -

My current wallet just has a central spring clip, work well -

They are very similar dimensions otherwise, the Bryker is a taller but thinner -

I periodically ask this guy, Tim Hardy, to make me a couple. The prices have edged up from under to £50 to now £85, to give an indication of how long I've been in this arrangement. But, also suggests I wont be doing it again. Also, he seems to have changed his logo to something more brazen - used to just say Worcestershire Leather Company. Anyways.

I think the second one is both on sale and designed for the dollar length.

Fjallraven made a lovely one for few years round 2005-ish. Always fancied an Ettinger - in red and tan or something equally foppish.

You’re just there. Fold the wallet and the leftover bit of the notes folds against the metal card holder

I have a roots wallet not dissimilar to that if I just want to carry the essentials - 5 card slots, an ID slot and a slot behind each of those (which are big enough for cash unlike the Secrid).

I do understand how to fold Marc... I just think it's a poor solution. I will give it a go however if you otherwise rate it.

The Drango D003 looks interesting.

It's been my only wallet for a couple of years, and I got one for my best friend, too. Truth be said I rarely carry notes nowadays, most things are paid by phone (Apple Pay or Apple wallet).
So this is a very convenient carry as not bulky and can remedy a no-signal zone (The Lake District and O2: YES, this is about you!)

I've switched everything over to it and will see how I go. I like the idea.

Here is my front pocket wallet. In this case, made from Australian Cane Toad skin. I does not seem to show any sign of wear, just darkens a bit with use.
Measures about 75mm wide x 105mm long (folded)

Just ordered a toadskin wallet. It's one of the coolest things I have seen on this forum.
I'm always getting mocked for the cactus outdoor wallet (purse apparently) that I've had over a decade. I'll keep that for work, and the new one for the rare occasions I go out.

I'm still using the Secrid, tis a good system and easier to switch things into my card wallet when I don't want to take everything than my old one was. The cash solution is not what it could be but I manage.

Back from a week in prague with the toad

The front pocket wallet design is excellent. Unobtrusive, compact and I'd imagine pick pocket proof.

I wasn't carrying much cash, just my bank card, hotel key card and metro ticket.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Geoff's wallet design!

I thought it was cockney rhyming slang for wife and pondered on it for a bit before I recalled the previous content.
