As an avid dog walker living in the NW wellies are an essential item for me for 10 months of the year.

My summer wellies are Nokian Bogtrotters, and for years I've used grubbs or muck boots in winter.

QC for muck boots and especially grubbs has nosedived... grubbs especially. Either the soles de laminate or they leak within 12 months

I've been googling alternatives, and came across the NZ brand skellerup.

Kiwi gear is always pretty good, and we have a stockist local.

I've just bought some Quattro insulated boots for a touch under £40...60% off. They have limited sizes, not all on the website, so might be worth a call.
Be aware they're big. I've sized down 1 uk size.

Initially they look really good. Reviews are all positive. Fingers crossed!

Excellent timing as both my and Bev's Muckboots are falling apart after just over a year.
£12.50 postage is a bit of bummer though.
