While off work recently I managed for the first time to catch one of the l9cal facebook free adds before 20 other people had put dibs in.
Local guitar maker offering up hardwood scraps for burning at home
The box looked something like this
First project was a screwdriver rack for my desk out of ash. Resawed a chunk of ash to use a nice curve then dovetailed them into a board and drilled for the drivers.
Today I promised myself I would do before during and after shots but didn't.
Started with a piece of Paduak similar to this
Then along with a baton of paduak and some ash wedges made this,
Currently soaking up a first application of Osmo oil.
