Internet experts; why does my Solar System internet link work on and off? The router is rock solid and laptop, iPad etc are always on line.
It's the communication from the dongle to the router that drops out at random, the same with the weather station. The inverter seems mostly random but the weather station seems to die between 09:00 and 19:00.How do you know it's online / offline? Do you access it through a website or the like? Also how old is it / the other kit? Might be that your iPads etc. are on a 5Ghz link to the router but the solar system is on 2.4Ghz, presuming these are all on the WiFi.
That looks like there is a "working day" setting in there somewhere that is mucking around. Maybe the system prioritises the internet traffic elsewhere during that time. It's the communication from the dongle to the router that drops out at random, the same with the weather station. None of this in any way critical, just niggles me because I don't know why it's happening.
I did wonder about that as most of these things are US based. That looks like there is a "working day" setting in there somewhere that is mucking around. Maybe the system prioritises the internet traffic elsewhere during that time.

WiFi interference from that van outside that you never really noticed before.
You can get blue pills to make your dongle work betterMight be the dongle is failing. Depending where it is it might be getting hot? or damp. If it is an actual dongle the wifi signal from it will be quite weak and any number of things could interfere with it.

You misspelled pilesThere's a guy at work give me pills once in a while, but all they do is make me wake up with a sore arse.
