Just a few pics from today in the western edge of west yorkshire, pretty featureless walk, won't be doing it again. The weather made it seem OK.

What were the holes in the bank of the second last photo ?

There's not much to see up there. The holes are probably the result of old delving. Lots of old quarry workings in these parts.

Sorry, I ought to have been clearer. The exposed sandy looking bank....the holes in that. I wondered if it were a warren but surely they're too small for that, then I thought about birds.
