Changing address at HMRC

I’ve recently moved home and been trying to advise HMRC of my change of address and after inputting all the driving licence and passport informatio, NIC number it gives a message that it cannot confirm my identity . So I tried using the on line picture system and after taking my passport photograph I had to down load the GOV app and it then asked for money. Anyone have an idea how to get this sorted please.

Its probably a fujitsu/government computor programme. Its designed to skim some dosh for the ministry of wealth.

Success, today I called the help line and spoke to a guy who gave me some tips on getting through to a human being. It worked a treat and address changed…..
what a lot of faff…😀😀😀😀

Its a requirement of government that they employ 2 people for 1 job
