Picked up some dried venison dog treats for the little one at the weekend. Gave her one to try and she deposited it on the living room rug before trying to roll on it. She kept it up for 5 minutes and came away with a distinct meaty scent especially between her shoulder blades.

My beast is a greedy bastard and will devour any sort of treat. He gets a range of stuff, the fish cubes, dried duck, cheese, small poultry and fish treats, broccoli stems, carrot and once a day he gets a dried rolled hide from various animals. We also feed him twice a day.
His ribs are obvious to the touch so he's healthy weight.

Over the past few years, dearest wife has taken to teaching the dog to do tricks. One of these tricks is getting the dog to put all her chew toys, bowls, and anything else that she thinks belongs to her into a basket. There’s a command, Cleanup! at this, the dog runs around, picks up everything put it into a basket. Obviously, getting her to this involved giving the dog lots of treats. Her most recent trick, is to drag the basket into the middle of the room put all the toys onto the floor and stand there, looking at us expectantly.

You do realise of course that this was just preliminary work on your wife's part before confiscating all your alcohol and taking your training to a new level....
