Brings back memories of that guy on BB who photoshopped his blade to appear broken.
Not casting aspersions but it triggered the memory and it’s going to irritate the life out of me now as I can’t remember for the life of me who it was.

Do you just want the spine dropping or did you want to replicate the spear point? The first is a doddle of a job. The latter is a bit more involved..

« Want » is a big word when asking for help
Ideally I would like a slight drop of the spine but following as closely as possible the original shape. I wouldn’t need it as pointy as it is a source of weakness -let alone danger when fighting the oyster’s hinge. It could be a little rounded.
I should add that I do not expect a freebie: it will take time and skills that I don’t have and while those knives are usually disposable, this one was given to me by a good friend, so I don’t mind spending a bit.

Well I can guarantee that it is not a photoshop job and thanks Ian for bumping the thread as I'd hate to register on Blade Matters for a solution
