Not quite the same place but yesterday the Austrailian minister for immigration thanked the UK for providing them with a huge influx of Doctors and nurses.

I had been wanting to take the cable car to the top of the mountain in Queenstown, but it had been shut for maintenance. It finally opened the day I was leaving, so an early breakfast and getting there at opening time allowed my to take a quick trip to the top before leaving. Luckily, it was almost derserted, so grabbed a ticket and had a car to myself for the steep ascent.
Looks like some extreme forestry work being undertaken.
Bungy swing for those with the minerals.
This was the valley we flew up in the helicopter last week to get above the clouds.
Makes Loch Ness seem like a puddle.

As I stood there knowing in an hours time it was off to the airport, I cursed the sub zero wind chill for causing a drop of water to form in my eye. Not many places live up to their name. The Remarkables? Almost seems like the name doesnt live up to the place.
