Bloody marvellous spring weather - cool and bright. I will, of course, eventually tire of it but, for now, I am feeling pretty pneumatic.

It's not just me who thinks we've been awfully wet.
The local golf course, Bothwell Castle, is closed again, because it's too wet....the golf course is literally just over the wall at the end of the street. The burn that runs along side our house rises as a fresh water spring there, and then takes on the water from that end of things.

Why is the golf course closed again? How this winter's heavy rainfall has impacted courses everywhere

The winter of 2023/24 has caused serious problems in terms of flooding, with at least one golf club - Renishaw Park - closing for good.

It's been a beautiful day here Warm too, just above 9˚C. Sunny, bright, still and calm.

I was away over the weekend, very mixed weather. It was pretty warm on the drive up Friday night, Saturday started windy and pcold and then it rained for most of the day, Sunday I drove back through sun, snow, hail and rain but none of it for very long. Driving through pouring rain for 5 minutes then emerging into the sun and dry roads.

Lovely day here still but I've been to work this morning, been out with my doggie charge who I have this week. But now my back is playing up more than usual and I'm sat watching countdown.

A slightly dampish morning. It brightened up ok, some cloud around but dry.

It's a miracle!! Bright sunshine, blue skies, cumulus clouds and feel like temps above 0c all day (1 - 5c). It certainly changes one's outlook on Shetland.

It ended up snowing here for most of the afternoon yesterday, big wet flakes.

Today has been much brighter.

Same here. Started snowing last night and looks like it will for the next few days. Our eldest is over here and couldn't be happier with the prospect of 10 days skiiing while his lecturers are on strike
