I am a collector of materials. From fabric and paper to yarns and metals, from gemstones and shells and minerals to bits of wood. Resins and gums and waxes. I find this sort of real stuff fascinating. I love the variety, the endless tactile pleasure of them, their smell, their colours, the way that they exist, and last, not just ephemeral plastic.
Anyway, in my ramblings around the net I come across sites of other crafts folks who do things very well indeed.
I've just spent half an hour re-acquainting myself with Cambridge imprint.
They make paper, they make beautiful things from paper. They sell high quality kits, and they do calm, quiet, clear and almost zen like videos
