Never seen so much fruit on the one across the road from us either. I noticed the other day.

Its a good year for fruit, my quince is laden and I have given away 2 carrier bags of green walnuts for pickling to prevent the squirrels from having them again

Any major shock can trigger an "Oh my god we're going to die, lots of new tree chances quickly!" response.

Not seeing the same with fruit here, so much - though there are plenty of baby apples and berries etc.

But, the flowers have been amazing in the ravines this year, like someone's garden. Then again, it hasn't really been droughty.
