After my post in the postie and leatherwork threads, I got to making scales for the knife. Mac was kind enough to send me some leather bits for a sheath and I discovered much. Firstly, leather stitching is HARD! so don't use the nicest bit for the initial attempt ( I managed to get the Nubuck to a colour that matched well and then put leather sealer on it, now it's almost black and doesn't look nice at all.
So attempt 2 is with the red suede and it actually looks not bad, if I could just manage to stitch a straight line.. It's very soft so should be comfortable to wear,
