Had a good ride out the back of the site to parkamoor yesterday.
None of the gates are locked. You'd definitely get up there either of your 4wds.

Home as well. Car emptied (but the tipi needs drying so there is still a bit of work to do), SJ took a lot of scrubbing to recover a vaguely civilised appearance but now people don’t stare nor pinch their nose when they come within 10 feet so I’ll call it a win.

I got back at 3pm, not a bad drive but maybe an hour added onto the journey due to traffic. I'll get photos up when I'm on the PC.

The current plan is to book somewhere else down south in the spring for a couple of days. Probably near Rich, if we can find a decent site?

To answer Andy's question the answer for me is yes, absolutely. We still have things to do there and it's a great basecamp.
And yes, we are going to try and have another RTTH in Spring down south. Stu would take the train, I have a spare tent for him.

I can always pick someone up from an m6 junction on route south.
